Our Story
All About Vita Christi Youth Ministry
Vita Christi Youth Ministry was born from a vision to see young Catholics rise as leaders, alive in Christ and active in their communities. What began as a small effort to train parish youth leaders has grown into a nationwide movement transforming the face of Catholic youth ministry in Nigeria.
Through core team trainings and hands-on mentorship, we empower youth leaders to know their faith, live it out with purpose, and share it with others. We believe that every young person has a role to play in the mission of the Church, and we’re here to help them discover it.

Why Youth Ministry?
Because the future of the Church begins with the faith of its youth,
and that faith must be formed, nurtured. In a world filled with noise, confusion, and shifting values, young people are searching for truth, belonging, and purpose. Youth ministry meets them at this crossroads, offering Christ as the answer and the Church as their home.
At Vita Christi, we believe that when young people encounter Jesus and are formed in faith, they don’t just survive the pressures of the world, they become leaders who transform it. That’s why we invest in youth: to raise a generation that lives with conviction, leads with love, and lights up the Church with hope.

Lord,
We ask you to watch over our young people,
be their strength in a world filled with confusion,
their light in times of darkness,
their hope in moments of despair.
Help them to discover the purpose of their lives
and the beauty of giving themselves in service and love.
Protect them from the voices that lead them away from You,
and open their hearts to Your call.
Grant them courage to take risks,
to dream big,
and to work for a more just and peaceful world.
May they always walk with You and never lose sight of Your love.
